Coastal Collection

This particular collection came from the beauty and joy found living by the coast. I have always been by the coast growing up in North Devon England I was not more than a ten minute walk from the seaside with its ever impressive Jurassic coastline. To sunny California where I lived in the beach cities for ten years with its golden sand beaches and exquisite lifestyle. Again being inspired by the differences between the two lands I began designing the Coastal collection.

Clean flowing lines drawn from the surf of California infused into the design of the Del Mar chair to the rugged Lundy Island with a nod to tradition and time tested joinery found in the Chapel Bench. The Coastal Collection was a very creative and experimental collection to design and build introducing new techniques to the making process.
